Work with Swift source
Selected Swift and SwiftUI source can be compiled against ShimKit for the Android host. The Swift playground uses a Mac-compiled module that the host hot-loads; it is not an on-device Swift compiler.
In the full development workspace, start with these documents:

Study a guest runtime
Darwin terminal experiments and controlled iOS UIKit fixtures use separately provisioned research VMs. A booted shell does not establish app compatibility. Installing the Android host does not supply Apple’s frameworks or guest images.

What remains to make setup easy
- A complete, reproducible host build and device preflight checks.
- Documented runtime provisioning, launch, recovery, and shutdown.
- Per-device evidence for rendering, input, and unsupported APIs.
- An easier edit–build–run loop with useful diagnostics.
These status descriptions summarize the current development workflow. A downloadable release is not available yet.
